Sonny's first race car. Actually, it was the family car, a '62 Dodge Polara 500, but it had a 361 cubic inch engine with a Carter AFB 4 barrel carburetor which was fast in its time. Dad allowed me to drag race it at the Osceola Airfield in Geneva and I won the A Stock Automatic class twice out of two attempts. Dad siad "Enough" and my career in drag racing was over.
